Take a trip back in time to the 1760s at this spectacular neo-classical mansion, framed by historic parkland.

Designed for lavish entertaining and displaying an extensive collection of paintings, sculpture and original furnishings, Kedleston is a stunning example of the work of architect Robert Adam. Used as a key location for the Hollywood blockbuster The Duchess.

Tickets

Tickets cost £13 adults or £9 for under 12s for each screening, but can be purchased for the Early Bird price of £11 adults or £7 for under 12s up to 1st June 2017. Under 5s go free.

Groups of 8 or more can purchase tickets at Early Bird equivalent prices up until the Thursday before each screening. 

Bridget Jones's Baby has now SOLD OUT, there will be no tickets available on the door. Tickets for The Legend of Tarzan are no longer available to book via the website, however you can still book by calling our Box Office on 01332 290606 before 12pm on Friday 21st July. After breaking up with Mark Darcy, Bridget Jones’s ‘happily ever after’ hasn’t gone quite according to plan. Now in her forties and single again, she decides to focus on her career, when she finds herself pregnant, with one hitch - she’s only 50% sure who the father is. By Train: 

The nearest train stations are Duffield 3½ miles & Derby 5½ miles.

By Road: 

Aim for intersection of A52 / A38, and follow A38 (north). Take first exit (by Derby University) and continue along Kedleston Road towards Quarndon.

By Bus:

Service from Derby to Ashbourne, calls at the Hall summer Saturdays only, otherwise alight the Smithy, 1 mile.

Screening area

This is an outdoor performance, please bring a chair or rug with you as there is no formal seating and please dress for the weather.

Accessibility

Mobility parking - seven designated spaces for blue badge holders in main car park, 200 yards from house. Three additional spaces 50 yards from house on collection of permit from Visitor Reception (priority given to disabled drivers). Drop-off point in same area.

Adapted toilet - located next to main lavatory block.

Wheelchair access to building.
